- Be respectful
This includes but is not limited to the use of slurs or hate speech (racial, homophopic, xenophobic, or otherwise), outright insults (character, appearence, inteligence, or otherwise), and/or backhanded compliments.
Do not reveal sensitive personal information
This includes but is not limited to home or work addresses, occupation, place of graduation(s), bank details, social security number, phone number, and/or email.
Be mindful of content
When interacting with other users remeber, dead dove; do not eat. Not all content posted by other users of WildernessTruth will be to your liking. If something is upsetting to you, do not engauge with it deeply or at all and move onto something you're comfortable with.
Please tag posts with content warnings when needed
Not everyone is comfortable with certain frightening or intense topic, especially if the post goes in-depth (e.g. sexual content, gore, disordered eating, self harm). Please take the time to use tags at the beginning of your post or before the topics arise in the body of the post (for example; CW: #gore, #disordered eating).
Do not pressure others to share details
Not everyone will be comfortable with sharing specific details of their trauma, personal issues, mental health, or otherwise. Even if you are having a conversation with someone you are not entitled to that information and they do not have to reveal anything they do not wish to.
Do not outright deny the experience or feelings of others
Conversations may turn into arguments but evryone's experience is their own; no one experience is universal. Denying someone's experience makes WildrenessTruth a more hostile space thus making it harder for other users to feel comfortable to engage thoughfully or genuinely.
